Superfund in HDFC Bank ? Any information about it ?

Today I have been to HDFC Bank for some work, that time I meet my RM. He told me about one investment option called Superfund. In Superfund, investment is done in Global Equity & Debt market.

Is anyone having any information on Superfund?

    Dear Amit, if you feel you are knowleable enough to underastand all the nitty gritties of this fund, Please feel free to invest. Personaly I’ll not invest my own money in this fund. Whatever little bit I can understand from the link, the funds managed under the brand name Superfund are high risk fund and carries currency and geogrephical risk more than an ordinary global fund as the money from you ‘ll be invested in multiple countries with multiple currencies in operation. From taxation point, these funds ‘ll be counted as debt fund so that’s one more dampner.

    Dear Amit, I checked the HDFC fund site for the fund name SUPERFUND. I’m unable to locate one. Can you provide more details of the same?

      Its not a HDFC product, but third party product sold by HDFC. Please visit http://www.superfund.com/hp11/Default.aspx for more information on Superfund.
