Finally i had to pay the entire amount of 41k and axis bank promised that it will not affect my cibil now Cz i did not settle the account. Hi Nishant

This is very specific query which you should follow up with the concerned authority only. We wont be able to comment on that

  2. Dear Sree, the CIBIL Masking stands for clearing the old credit histories by paying past dues to your various outstanding loans. Here first you contact your lender, pay the old dues. Get NOC & No dues from the lender & ask there for updation of your record into CIBIL & at thge same time, you contact CIBIL to correct the status for past mistakes. CIBIL ‘ll check with the lenders & after getting the confirmation, ‘ll remove the settled or write off status from your report & then ‘ll update your credit score also.

    Thanks

    Ashal
