Submitted Credit Card Front Xerox for proof of payment in Term Insurance

Hello,

One of my friend buy “HDFC Life Click 2 Protect” term insurance plan of 25L and he opted premium mode as credit card. Now company asked him to submit credit card front page Xerox. He is very confused to give that credit card Xerox document. Providing credit card Xerox document is safe or not I want to know your suggestion? Or is there any other way to resolve this deadlock.

    Hi Atin,

    Same thing happened with me and I provided them the front side of Credit card. Do not provide the rear side on which you have CVV number and is essential for online transaction.

    This is generally taken for direct debit through credit card. In case you do not want to share the credit card xerox, you may choose to do a auto bill pay registration on HDFC credit card. Credit Card customer care can guide you on this.
