just need advise…We got Split AC from voltas in july 2013.The units were installed by VOLTAS authorized dealers.Now this season when AC showed some problem,we booked complaint with voltas.The engineer now is telling that wires of AC motor are cut by rats.
There are now not repairing it or changing,saying it is not covered in warranty.The workman who installed AC on wall left hole and since fan unit is installed at Terrace,rat might have come through pipe and entered in AC unit.
What I have told them is that unit and ac was installed by Voltas authorized mechanic and it was their duty to close the hole.. …this is due to bad workmanship damage. How can a customer be held responsible for no fault of theirs… any suggestions and advise ..Ac still in warranty period… thanks
