    Hi Manish & Ramesh,

Thanks a lot for your suggessions,

Manish i prefer LIC compare to other Copmanies.

To answer Ramesh qn. i would like to do 3 SIPs each for Rs 1000.

  2. Dear mahalakshmi,
You should firstly take a term insurance plan which you would get on any of the insurance company website. Then make a point that you keep about 8months salary into a Flexi deposit. than if you hav any surplus start SIP in HDFC top 200, Franklin Equity Growth, and HDFC midcap Oppurtunities

    @ Mahalakshmi

    I agree with Manish’s recommendation.

But I feel it a bit strange that you want 3 SIPs for Rs 3000. You want it to be 3 separate SIPs in a single fund or 3 separate SIPs in 3 different funds?

Just think, suppose you have Rs. 10000 per month to invest. Would you want 10 different funds? And @ 30000?

The summary is keep 1 or max two funds. Whatever be the amount of your monthly investment. Prospectively, you will not lose out on the benefits.

You can go through companies which you trust , Which are the companies you are comfortable with for insurance ?

Are you ok with ICICI Pru , Kotak , Aviva or only LIC ?

You can also choose some long term SIP’s like HDFC Equity , DSPBR Equity , Birla Sunlife Frontline equity or Franklin Prima plus

    Manish
