Should I restart my SIP to avail the zero entry load benefit on Mutual Fund?

POSTED BY Surabhi Rajan ON October 26, 2010 1:15 pm COMMENTS (3)

One of my financial savvy friend told me that, now entry load on Mutual Fund investments are removed, but the SIP started before 2010 August month would not get the benefit. Thus I need to cancel my all SIP instructions and submit fresh Applications for SIP via “direct” to start all again.

My current SIP investments are registered via a agent. Please advice.

Is it 2010 ? I guess you wanted to say 2009 , entry load has gone before 1 yr .

  2. Yes, that’s right. You need to cancel your previous SIP and submit fresh application for SIP. You can do that via your AMFI certified mutual fund distributor. In this way, you can get zero entry load on your investments plus you can seek his services also.

    Hope it will help you.
