My employer is providing PoP – ICICI Pru assistance, for enrolling in NPS.

I had gone through all articles, forum questions on NPS in JI. My question here is, will it take a better shape in future ? Idea of buying annuity at end does not make me that happy.

So, in current features of NPS, will that be a good investment as pension plan?
