Dear Jay, the insurer you are comfortable with is the best. If it’s SBI so be it. If it means LIC, go there. If it means Aviva, purchase from there.
Thanks
Ashal
You mean option 1 is good right.
For term plan which ins company is best
Dear Jay, RD interest is not tax free. Banks do not apply TDS. It does not mean RD interest is tax free. Please purchase a big term cover first.
For your investment needs, opt MFs, PPF, FDs etc.
Option 2 back to square one. OK. I surrender. No need to purchase any term plan. All these things are rubbish. The reason – you w’d purchase an umbrella and if it’s no rain, the shopkeeper should return the money you paid to by the umbrella. 🙂
Thanks
Ashal
Dear Ashal,
yes this is not enough. please advice which is best option.
1. Take one term insurance cover from SBI Life and remaining saving invest in MF, PPF ,RD and one more PPF in wife /child name. I heard RD interest is tax free is it correct.
2. HDFC life new pension plus plan) and Youngster child insurance plan and HDFC life new pension plus plan) and Youngster child insurance plan in MF and PPF
In option 2 i can consider term insurance of 20 lakh
Dear Jay, do you think 4L Rs. is enough for next 20-25Y in your absence for your family to meet out all the expenses towards living and education needs of your kid?
Please think over it.
Thanks
Ashal
