  • ABG SHIPYARD LTD.   11;
  • DCBL   800;

  1. Depends on when you bought them and what you expected in the first place.

    A very simple rule is this:

    Lets say you have 100 shares of Stock A with CMP as 55 => Market value is Rs. 5500. Now pretend you have Rs. 5500 in cash in Bank account. Will you buy this stock afresh? If no then there is no point in holding it.

    The problem is if you have bought the stock at 80 you expect to break even and then only sell. But the reality is – in most cases – you can sell the stock, invest in another stock which possibly can appreciate faster than Stock A.

  2. Dear Premji, what about your MFs & other investments? Why did you invest in these scrips at the first place? Are you satisfy with the over all returns from these scrips?

    Please try to find the answers for above questions & you ‘ll come to know yourself – what to do with these scrips.

    Thanks

    Ashal
