service tax in credit card statement

i have been charged Rs618 as service tax in my credit card statement. I dont know for what they have applied this much of ST. I am a new user to CCs. So can you please tell me for what exactly it has been applied. The transactions were as follows:

BOOKMYSHOW 283.70

MOBIKWIK 56.00

KFC 691.00

RAJAN AUTO CARE 211.24

WWW.IRCTC.CO.IN 266.52

Service tax reversal 1.24 CR

Rev of HPCL Surcharge Rev 10.00 CR

Service Tax 618.00

Lifetime Fee 5,000.00

    Dear Shiv, the service tax is applied on 5K amount of life time fee @ 12.36%.

    I think service tax( 618) charged is on the lifetime fee (5000). Confirm with your card issuing bank once.
