Hi,
I have a SBI max gain home loan of 22lacs for 13 years and i am paying the emi from Aug 12. My outstanding loan amount to be paid is Rs. 21,49,768/-, so in case if i have this much amount with me, can i go ahead and close the loan. Please advise .
Do i need to pay anything extra for the interest charges ?

Dear Subin, you need not to pay any penalty if you opt to close the loan now. By the way, why do you want to lose the liquidity of the money avaiable to you in the form of surplus in Max Gain account?
