I want to share my experience with all of you. I have applied for home loan in pune sbi on 20/09/2013 and surprisingly i got sms on 26/09/2013 asking for consent letter, which i have signed on the same day and on 30/09/2013 my loan of rs. 1800000 was sanctioned. I have been harassed by builder for not going for SBI but i stick to my decision.
Friend SBI has change drastically, all the staff at RACPC II PUNE are very professional and helpful. I was worried what will happen if loan dos not sanction in time and what will happen if builder raise DEMAND NOTE ?. But now its reverse scenario i waiting for DEMAND NOTE.
My file was in order and all the papers were in place, i would suggest all my friends kindly prepare your file 100% in order then see how fast SBI works, even we dont require HLC ie. home loan counselors.

its maxgain for 17 years tenure and loan amount is 1753000 with 18 mnths moratorium period

Always nice to hear when things go well and smooth. Apparently, SBI does process home loans faster and w/o hassles for ‘senior’ govt. employees. One of my relatives is in some archaeology dept. or some such thing with the govt., and their home loan processing with SBI was swift done.
