I would say its a small world , dont do anything bad which can leave mark on your work and name , work just like you are there even in days when you know you will be gone in some days, Make sure you sell any ESPP/ESOP/RSU’s incase they cant be taken with you ,
Firstly, if you’re negotiating notice pay takeover from another co, get it in writing.
Normally, co’s dont pay leave encashment on resignation, so either get it exhausted or encashed before you tender ur resignation.
If PF withdrawal is non taxable, get it encashed. Get all PF tsfe forms signed in place.
Be prepared to be given step motherly treatment by your earlier co so dont leave anything verbal. Write e-mail from personal id and try and get everything communicated in writing including your date of resignation.
And, finally – give your boss a small token of appreciation / momento while leaving. It works!!!
