Resale Flat or Newly launched property – Which one should I buy in Mumbai for investment purpose ?

I wanted to know buying a Resale Flat in Mumbai is beneficial or a Newly launched property in Mumbai. Can I get TAX benefit in Resale Flat??

Note: I am buying it for Investment purpose

I will be funding it with Loan money and with my own Savings.

    I bet no one can answer that with no details provided.

    1. What is the location of both flats
    2. How is the price trend in both areas where the flats are located
    3. What is the cost of both flats
    4. How old is the resale flat
    5. What is the ongoing rent in the area where the resale flat is available
    6. What is the investment period

    Have you considered the interest you will have to pay to settle the loan. Do factor that into your investment cost. After adding that, do you still see price rising to an extent that you make at least 20% profit on your investment. This is after you deduct the capital gains tax, property tax etc.

    So the answer is not so simple, there are many variables to understand here.
