Regret for not saving any money in last 2 yrs of my worklife, how to move on from here ?

Hi Team,

Greetings!!

I am a big fan of this page and would always like to peek in whenever i find time. Now i am bit confused with my financial plans so I am dropping this post.

I am a 25yr old guy and have done no savings till now since i have started to work( i.e. from past 2 years)and i regret for the same. I would like to do 5k of saving every month for long term as well as short term. I am confused whether to opt ppf for long term or LIC ( I have already taken one for 14k per annum) and have planned RD for short term. Please let me know how to proceed..

    Happy that you found out your mistake and starting to correct it.

    What is your idea of opting for LIC for long term ?? Do you mean you want to invest in LIC products for long term for wealth creation ??

    Also, what is the plan that you took from LIC for which you are paying 14k.

    Please clarify these.
