I have booked a flat in pune. Booking amount given 1 lacs. Stamp duty and registration amount to be paid comes upto 180000.
According to new eSBTR rule, I have to register my property by paying the above amount. My builder is asking me to transfer the above amount in into his savings account so that he can pay the stamp duty and registration on my behalf and provide me the Challan of it. First he told me to do RTGS but when i resisted. He ok with Cheque or DD also.
What should i do? Pls help
