Regarding Income Tax Return Status

Hi,
I have filed E-return on 21-Jul-2011. I got acknowledgement on Email but I didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’t get any Ack letter from IT department. Whenever I check my CPC status, it doesn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’t show anything. Is there any way to know the status of my IT return? Any number available for IT dept so that I can check with them directly?

    PS : My friend (who had some problems in tax returns) had called their help center and i must say the call centre was well managed
