WHAT IS THE IDEAL TIME FOR REDEMTION OF MUTUAL FUND DIVIDEND SCHEME WHEN THE DIVIDEND RECORD DATE IS X. IS IT BEFORE X OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER X?

    i think, in particular case, it would be beneficial to redeem after dividend. say ., if you have investment in equity fund where dividend is taxfree, and the capital gain is taxable as one year is not completed. in such case, by redeeming after dividend could be beneficial, sbject to market flactuation.

    naresh g actually it does not matter whenever you redeem because nav will be adjusted accordingly.
