REC Tax Free Bond

Hi,

Recently got to know about REC offering Tax free bonds (starting from 30th Aug). I have been investing in MF on regular basis and thats pure equity. For the Debt part, hardly have anything except for FDs. 

Should I invest in these Bonds or let it go and look for soem Debt Funds instead.

Amount I am looking at investing is 1Lakh.

Please suggest.

    Dear Ashish, in my personal opinion, you should invest as the tax free interest make these bonds very attractive.
