Query related to EPF

I worked in HPCL(PSU) for 5 months. I resigned from the post and joined ONGC. When I contributed 3541 rs to my PF then HPCL contributed 3000( 541 rs less) and it is also the same case in ONGC(PSU). There is  also the difference of Rs 541 in my contribution and employer contribution towards my PF. I want to where is remaining 541 Rs?

 

If anybody has any idea then please let me know. I would be thankful to you.

    Dear Ashok, the 541 Rs. from your employer contribution is going towards EPS – employee pension scheme. 541 Rs. is 8.33% of 6500 rs. the maximum amount. This amount ‘ll provide you a pension after the age of 58 & in case of your death to your family. the pension amount ‘ll depend upon your service length. the masimum possible pension amount for you is 3250 Rs.
