   I am planning to opt for SBI Maxgain home loan for an amount of 30 lacs towards an under-construction flat. My query is:

1. consider that I avail the loan for a tenure of 10 years and say I have managed to add surplus amounts at regular intervals and I find that the money in my OD account say after 5 years equals my all dues until then and I do not close the Loan, I understand that from next month, I would have to pay EMI with no interest. So in case I pay the EMI and some more Surplus amount will I get any interest from the bank on the surplus amount? If yes at what rate of interest?
