Hi,

In January 2013, I changed my job and I have requested for transfer of EPF from old account to new account which is with my new employer now..

When I am checking the the transfer status at http://epfoservices.in/ it showing me below message:

Status : Claim Form 13 for Transfer to New Account Number: AGAINST Old Member Account has been rejected. Rejection letter is under dispatch/ dispatched to address in your claim.
Reason of rejection: The reason of rejection is not available in database. You may please contact RO/SRO CHENNAI for further details

I dont understand what is wrong here and what to do now?? i have not recieved any rejection letter so far.

Can some one please guide me in this.

Thanks,
Rajan Panchal

Please contact your old employer for form 3A.

Your old employer is supposed to send form 5, form 10 and form 3A to EPF office.

To speed up the process, get the forms yourself and submit to PF office personally.

I always suggest everyone to use RTI for anything like this . Just file a RTI against your EPFO jurisdiction (from where transfer was to happen) and then put questions number wise and ask them what you want to know .

Wait for 40 days and you should get the reply . This is the best and authentic way to get proper info from EPFO or any govt department . And mostly your work will speed up
