Hi all

I wan to know about the contribution of Employer towards my PF.

Say my Basic is 10000 and a contribution of 12% is made from my side i.e 1200 p.m.

Is my employer alos liable for the same. As far as my knowledge say YES.

But I was surprised to see when I got my PF slip I found it to be less. Some what around 400 p.m. when I enquired I was told that mpst of the amount is being transferd to Pension fund.

Is it so. Can some give a brief detail on it and if my employer is wrong than what should I do.
