PPF Deposit

Hi, Everyone

If I have opened PPF a/c in FY 2011-2012 with certain amount.Then do I have to deposit further minimal amount (Rs 500) to keep my account active or initial acount opening amount will do the same?

    Thank you guys I was not able to acknowledge because I was away from the web for some time ;btw I talked with a guy at the bank and he told me to deposit 500 bucks.So I thought it will be good to remain on safe side…..by the chance….

    You will have to pay 500 buks every new financial year to keep it active.

    If the initial deposit is 500 or more then you need not make another deposit for this FY. For next FY you need to deposit minimum 500 to keep the account active.

    yes, you will have to keep paying the minimum amount
