   Dear Neelesh, as rightly pointed out by dear Ramesh, the article is dated back to April 2010 whereas in June 2010, the DTC proposals were amended a lot & that revised DTC draft has now been put up with parliament. At present the PF & PPF are under EEE category.

   Dear Neelesh, PPF & PF both are under E-E-E regime in DTC as per draft proposal with the parliament.

         @Neelesh, check the date of the article. Apr 2010. = more than 1 year ago. At that time, this was the proposal which has now been changed in the revised DTC.

         So currently, PPF is under EEE and NOT eet.
