Dear Yogesh, Out of your 7K Rs. I w’d ask you to use 5K Rs. to increase your home loan EMI & invest remaining 2K Rs. in HDFC Prudence fund.

The reason is simple, After the recent interest rate hikes, your loan term has been increased by your banker & thus your over all interest burden over the term of loan (due to increased term) ‘ll be higher than normal term.

    Thanks

    Ashal

If you time is just 2-3 years and you need your investment later on ,then invest in MIP or Balanced Fund as the time period of 2-3 years is not for equity Mutual Funds. Consider investing it only if your looking for longer time period like 5+ years.

You can do a sip of Rs. 3,000 each in
    Franklin India Bluechip Fund
    HDFC Equity Fund

1000 can go to Kotak Gold Fund

    All the best !
