Portfolio for investment for 2-3 years

Dear all,

 

I am a 25 year old salaried employee. i need to create a portfolio which has focus on short term (2-3 years). Which instruments would you suggest i should invest in that offer me liquidity and high returns with moderate risk for the time frame i specified?

    Dear Gaurav, For the time frame of 2-3 years, I’ll ask you to invest in debt based products, like Bank FDs, Debt MFs etc. Investing in Eq. for such short term is a very risky affair & as per your own admission your risk profile is moderate.
