    Hello Ashal,
Thanks for reply. I will do that once i will be in india.
TATA Ret Fund i opted for starting SIP as retirement planning but due to mistake in form , SIP not activated. and i left with only that amount as invested in fund.

    1. Dear Jig, there is no need to save for retirement though a pension plan or a retirement mentioned fund. If you are disciplined enough, even a multi cap fund can be your retirement investment.

      Thanks

      Ashal

  3. Dear Jig, out of the 3 multicap you have invested in, please opt one & switch from the others to the opted one. DSP Eq. / HDFc Eq. / Rel. RSF Eq.

CAn you please elaborate your reasons to invest in to TATA Ret. fund?

    Thanks

    Ashal

    @ Jignesh

Understand that there are two distinct types of funds. One type is multicap with no restriction of cap or sector (though there can be a biased style of the fund manager). eg of such funds in your portfolio are DSP equity, HDFC equity, reliance RSF.
The other type is cap-restricted or thematic, etc. HDFC Top 200 and HDFC Midcap opportunities. There is nothing wrong in either group, but you should know which is which, and what that particular fund is doing in your portfolio.

The SIP look well and good. No need to change in terms of allocation percentages also.
whether you are separately investing in top 200 and midcap opp or you are singly investing in hdfc equity will work out similarly.

But I cannot understand the STP. STP from what to what?
And Gold coins? Are they some kind of gift or you have purchased them separately?

And is the 1 lakh in hand separate from gold coins?
What about debt part of your portfolio (apart from MIP and Dynamic PE fund)?
