Policy Lapsed because I could not pay premium on time

I have a policy with icici prudential. Policy No. 15902442 in the name of my wife Gurpreet kaur makhija. Because of some reason i could not deposit premium due on August, 12. The policy lapsed. on 23 rd Spt, 13, a mail was received to revive policy. In mail it was mentioned to revive policy without penalty and interest.

I contacted to Rewa ( HH) branch (Madhya Pradesh),  they told me to deposit Rs.40452,. I deposit Rs.40500 on 30 Sep, 13. Recipt no. D2903569. Office person came to my office on 2 nd october, 13 your policy could not be revived because it is late to deposit. The revival scheme was up to 30 sep, 13 and I deposit on 30th at 11.58.14 AM. pls tell me what i have to do?

    Dear Harjeet, the policy can be revived by paying the interest if any on the revival prem. amount + medical test, if asked by your insurer. What’s the problem then?
