Please suggest best Gold ETF funds to invest as SIP

please suggest best gold ETF funds to invest as SIP for 3 years.

should gold investment be considered as a part of the protfolio? how much % if at all?

is Gold a hedge against other investments?

    Look for following criteria to select the best gold ETF : Good liquidity in the exchange and also ETF should have low tracking error.
    Historically investment in gold is considered as hedge against inflation. Currently due to loose monetary policies in developed world leads to inflationary pressure all over the world. At best u can limit ur investment in gold to 10-15% of ur portfolio.
    Fundsindia has SIP facility in ETFs.

    Dear Mohan, You can’t invest thru SIP in Gold ETFs but as per your requirement, you may opt to purchase regularly on mly or weekly basis the desired units of Gold ETF.
