Please suggest any good short term investments

Hi,

I am having an montly excess amount of around 20,000 which I want to invest wisely. But, I would be requiring this amount for my marriage expenses shortly and I cant tell the exact time frame for it.

Hence, request you to suggest any good short term investments which are flexible.

    better go for liquid fund like QUANTUM LIQUID or any liquid fund of any AMC if you have already online account . the benefit , as i think, any time you redeem, you will get @6-8% p.a. return (subject to normal risks involved!) , whereas in bank RD you will get the interest rate depending upon period of holding minus any penalty in case of earlier closing of RD.
