Please guide me to find the histroic PE ratio for the past 5 years of a stock. Is there any website or formula i can use to check it out.
Atleast I am not aware of it ..
@Moneysights , any idea ?
At moneysights.com, we do show a trend-graph for last 5 years plotting the value of PE ratio of a stock.
For example, if you want to see the PE trend for last 5 years for Reliance Industries, you may visit this page – http://moneysights.com/stocks/stock-quotes/3/Reliance-Industries-Ltd.
At the left-hand side bottom of this page, you will see a section called “Financial & Shareholding Trends – Reliance Industries Ltd.” Within the tab of “Financial Ratios”, select the ratio you are interested in & it will plot the trend for last 5 years.
Note: Without being biased here, we are not aware of website that shows historic PE ratios. However, we have seen Edelweiss.in, which does have a 3-Year high PE value for a stock displayed on the details page of a stock but again it DOES NOT give you the 5 year trend.
Hope this was helpful.
thanks you all so much, i found what i needed. Appreciate your great help.
