Paying credit card bill before Due date affects Credit score?

POSTED BY Amit Gupta ON September 7, 2013 4:15 pm COMMENTS (3)

Does my credit score change depending upon when I pay my outstanding balance *before* due date. e.g. if my credit card statement is generated on 15th of a month and payment is due by 31st of month. Is there any affect on my score if I make a payment on 31st of that month (ensuring its not late) versus making a payment as early on 16th of the month. I was wondering, if balance is 1lakh, why should I lose the interest for 15 days in my saving account by paying before 31st.

Yeah. there will be no loss in credit score.. but be very careful if you are paying the bill on the last date.. due to weekend or holidays the payment might miss the date..

As per my knowledge there will be no credit score loss. It will increase your credit score.for getting saving intrest you can do schedule payment bedore 2 days according to bank holidays so there will not be any late payment.late payment charges you knows……
