ONDear Madam/Sir,
After browsing through Jago Investor, I came into the realisation that I am also an investor scammed by the Jeevan Saral plan of LIC. However, I am not able decide on what is to be done with it now. I had enrolled for two policies, details given below:
1.a Commencement date: March 2010
1.b Policy term: 30 years
1.c Annual premium: INR 30025
2.a Commencement date: March 2010
2.b Policy term: 35 years
2.c Annual premium: INR 30025
I have paid all the premiums to date and the question is, now what? Should I continue, or cut it and accept my losses. Usually I do not ask for financial advice, but this devious plan has been formulated by LIC to be extremely complicated.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Kris

Dear Kris, surrendering now ‘ll minimize your loss. don’t go by my words, check on your own for surrender value from LIC for both cases (now and after 5th prem.)
Thanks
Ashal
I think paying the 5th installment and surrendering will be less lossy.
Okay. I will take the advice – would anyone know which of the following will be best with regard to Jeevan Saral
a) To surrender the policy immediately
b) To pay this (5th) instalment and then surrender
c) To pay till 10th year and then surrender
My intent now is to minimise the loss. Thanks again for your time.
Regards,
Kris
Go to LIC office and ask for surrender value
If you’re satisfied with the amount, then surrender it
Dear Kris, w’d you like to amputate a finger today or an arm tomorrow? Writing is clear on the wall.
Thanks
Ashal
