Online Term Insurance Denied by two companies – Where Do I stand now ?

POSTED BY junear ON July 12, 2014 8:21 am COMMENTS (3)

Hi,

I am 30 years old, relatively healthy male person. I had one incident of Arthritis one year back.

I had applied for Online Term Life Insurance with Max Life and Aegone Religare. Unfortunately, both of the insurers have rejected my insurance based on medical history.

My question is – Where do I stand now? If I apply for an insurance in a different company, most likely it is getting rejected because of the past rejections. Does that mean I cannot have Life Insurance? Can IRDA or any organization help me on this regard?

HDFC Click2protect is good and now LIC has online term plans available. Please try them out.

Thanks… I will try LIC and HDFC out. LIC is from government, so they should be more responsible insurers!

    Hi,

Every company has different mechanism for risk calculation. I would suggest to try with 1 or 2 more companies and mention all the details along with rejections and hopefully you will be lucky. Try LIC also.

    Regards,
    Nikhil
