I recharged a BSNL mobile no. 9467993436 using rechargeitnow.com on 10/12/2011 with Rs. 69 wide

using SBI netbanking.
The amount got deducted from my savings account but dont get the mobile no rechaged.
I tried to contact rechargeitnow.com but no direct no. is available on site. Then I mailed the rechargeitnow.com via the contact option available on their site. Later I escalated the matter via mailing.
But till date after 3 months no response from their side.
Please help me to take the issue to consumer forum.

Not directly relevant to the topic, but relevant nonetheless.
It’s because of incidents like these that it’s better to use a Visa/MasterCard Credit Card for online transactions than netbanking. They have charge-back feature. You can ask your bank to do a “chargeback” (reverse the transaction) if the merchant doesn’t provide a proper resolution in case of a failed transaction.
A phone call and one letter to the credit card provider with all the relevant documentation, communication with the merchant is usually sufficient to process a chargeback.
It also helps to use the official website of your mobile provider to recharge than a third party site to ensure legitimacy.
You should also ask yourself if it’s worth the time and effort you are spending to recover 69 rupees. I know, principles, but practicality matters too.
