Online Health Insurance Policy

I read the articles on health insurance in your forum and started using the aggregator sites to find a policy for me and my family. However, I was totally confused. Too much of information and not completely clear.
I think none of the insurance companies had a great health insurance policy which is available online. Or they dont have enough information put on their sites like the Appolo munich website.

Can any one of you please suggest me a health insurance policy today itself? I need to apply one today and submit it my organization for tax benefits. 🙂
I am looking at a family floater for 2 Adults + 1Kid (5 years old).

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

You can go through the policy documents of both the policies and decide for yourself!

Regarding exclusions, you know which diseases you are suffering from, if any. Take a proper decision in that regard. For eg, if you do not have hernia, both the policies are same for you!!

Both companies are good. But apollo provides relatively more bang for the buck!!

    I would recommend Apollo healthinsurance.
    – Reasonable premium
    – No loading charges in case you use it. Only the renewal bonus will get affected.
    – No sublimits
    – A large number of day-care procedures are available.
    – Reasonable pre-surgery and post-surgery day coverage.
    – Nice customer care service.

Take the basic floater plan. coverage as your requirements.
(disclaimer: I am not an agent) 🙂

      Hi Ramesh

Thanks for your prompt reply. I wanted to take Apollo’s policy. I just happened to talk to a MaxBupa representative. He says these are his features in his policy
      – No loading charges
      – Even if claim is made, we stand to get 10% bonus which can be encashed towards the premium payment or as some other services.
      – No exclusions where other insurance compies have exclusions for first 4 years.
      – Limited exclusions.
      – No TPA
And I realized that this policy is reviewed in this forum. However the premium is expensive in Max Bupa.
