NO Premature withdrawal penalty

Hi All,

*Requirement 1:

Need name of banks that do not charge any penalty on premature withdrawl for FDs

As of now only IDBI bank offers this facility.

 

*Requirement 2:

Banks that offer facility to open Fixed deposit with DIFFERENT branches via internet banking.

As of now IDBI, AXIS have this facility.

 

Currently “both” the criteria are met only by IDBI Bank. Please “suggest few more”.

    perhaps he may have idea to avoid tds deduction for the limit of interest earned would be fds of that particular branch only. i am not sure about the correct provision

    Even I can think of IDBI in this case . Regarding opening FD , when you open a FD via netbanking how does it matter from where it is opened . Its always opened with BANK and not branch , you can break it by giving an application anywhere in India in that bank , is that not the case ?
