New Flat poccession formalities

hello all,

In next month , i am going to take poccession of my new flat after paying all last due payment which include registration, maintenance,municipality and electricity charges..

I want to know what all checks i should go with?

I am an NRI and what legal formalities i should proceed?

Is it good to register it as NRI property or is there any such requirement?

    Thank you very much for your reply.
    Can you little elaborate your reply? In what sense it will be very good and what are the formalities complete?
    Do i need to receive any special doc from builder?

    Actually that was my query about required doc and info on correctly receiving the property after all checks.

    Please help..

    It will be very good if you register it as NRI property.
