ONI was reading this thread and realized that I know zero about this stuff. I have a moderate income and I would like to start investing now but where do I start. Please suggest some practical books that actually suggest the real instruments of investments. I am not looking for generic abstract advice on investing. Thanks.
Example thread I like: https://www.jagoinvestor.com/forum/financial-planning-for-a-late-starter

Dear Shakuni, believe me, out of 101, 100 ‘ll be genric within your own definition. if you want to play with it. Please purchase any so called 101 tips book. Read it and post your comments/review here. 🙂
Personal finance is more about taking simple steps in right direction. Not about making once’s own ife complicate by running here and there. Please read the below discussion and check on your own, how much is generic and how much is case specific?

Can you read this sample of book and see if it helps your requirement.

Hi Sir, Thanks for reply. I consider tips like below to be generic.
Spend less than you make
Build an emergency fund
Diversify your portfolio
Make Goals
etc.
I would rather buy a book with title 101 practical tips to save tax.
Dear Shakuni, what is generic abstract advice as per your own definition?
Thanks
Ashal
