   Dear Dev, you still did not answer my WHY? What is there so special that you need term cover till age 75Y? What’s the logic for having term cover till that age?

   On a side note what are your comments for the reply made above by dear Debojyoti.

   Hi Dev,
   I will try to answer your question. The main intention of Term plan is to secure your family from unforeseen situation – Death. Questions for you – Are you sure you will work till 75yr. If Yes, is the answer, then go for it. If you are comfortable working till the age of 55/60, then purchase the Term Insurance till 55/60 (time till you work). Why? Because by that time, you will attain all your financial goals, and post retirement, you will not be a financially loss to your family. Coming to product, Aegon religare iTerm, I personally own the policy and I did not find any flaw in it. Don’t go by my word and determine term insurance on various parameters like claim settlement ratio; etc etc. Read past discussion on this forum for Insurance as well as Manish’s blog on Term insurance (Old Articles in top of this web).       Hi Ashal,

      My age is 23 years. The maximum policy term other companies are offering is upto 40 years. Only Aegon is offering policy term of 52 years ( in my case, 75 – 23 years). I found this plan a perfect match for me hence I am planning buy this plan.
