Hi ,

I have HDFC Ltd home loan of 45L @ 10.25% for 20 yrs . I have paid 4 EMI’s till date (Rs. 44174).

1] I will be saving Rs 15L by June 2015 with help of some overseas assignment. Shall I do part payment of my Home Loan with that or Shall I invest it somewhere? If I need to invest such a huge amount then what are the various options?

2] From next month onwards I will be having 6k surplus money after all my expenses, how to utilise it better?

My Current investment details:-

Employer provided mediclaim for my entire family  (Myself, my wife & my Parents) – 7L each

3 LIC (2 Money back, 1 Jeevan Anand) – Total Premium 50100/year

HDFC Life Term Plan of 50L

FD 1.15L

Real estate of value 13L (Loan Free)

Self occupied home of value 1.05CR  (With 45L loan)

I am 30 yrs old, married and expecting a child in week or two. Living with parents and grandmother
