Need help in selecting Health Insurance plan: Individual or Family Floater?

Dear Experts,

I am travelling to US in 1-2 months and expected to work there for 2-5 years. Before that I have to complete all the tasks which we should complete before becoming NRI. Since I didnt have adequate life cover I have taken Term Plan from LIC – Jeevan Amulya for 50 lacks.

Now I am in dilemma whether to go for Individual and Family floater health plan for me (26 years) and mother (47 years). Based on Individual anf Floater I can select health insurance company with help from medimanage or someone or by self analysis.

So can you please suggest me Individual or Family floater?

    What Ashal said was absolutely right; Go ahead with individual health insurance policy for your mother only. To choose right insurance company you need to do your own research keeping your requirements in mind, collect as much data s you can. I will also recommend you to collect quotes from different insurance providers, it will help you to choose best health insurance plan for you. I hope it will work for you!

    Dear Swathi, as you ‘ll not be here in India, it’s not advisable to become proposer of the policy for your mother. Instead, purchase the policy your mother as proposer for herself.
