Hi,

I need your expert advise on my financial planning. I am 38 years old and have 2 kids 8 yrs and 2 yrs old. I would like to invest for my childrens education, marriage and my retirment.

My family income from all sources is around 2 lacs and 60K is my monthly expenses including everything.  Following is my savings per month as of now :

PF : 13 K

LIC : 10K

MF (Equity ) SIP : 12K

FD : 50K

I wanted to started another SIP for my 2 yr daughters for her education and marriage and planning to put around 10K SIP for the same. Please let me know what fund should I choose to get better returns. Also what should I do for my retirement plan. I dont have any exposure of Equity and suffered a big loss during 2008 slow down so decided not to entry the stock market again.

thanks in advance

    Dear Viju,

Would add that you must first decide the figure to arrive at, for these future Financial Goals…Add Mid&Small cap funds in majority for your goals, as they are quite far ahead in future (One fund for sure, I would advice – which I do to most of my investors is HDFC Children Gift fund)..
Also let us know which funds are already there in your portfolio, so that we can select other category and funds..
