Need a good Demat / Broking account provider

I hate ICICI bank.
I just opened one with Citi Wealth Advisors which I will shut down with out using because it works only with Citi.
Is there any good bank independent Demat/Broking account provider?
It could be a bank, but I want to be able to use the Demat & Broking account independently with another bank if I choose to.

    Thank you Ashal.

  2. Dear Jason, if you are more of a buy & hold kind, you may go with any bank based broker be it SBI or ICICI or HDFC. charges in this case are not that much important.

    Thanks

Thanks for you your help guys.

Now that I’ve heard you and done my research & some introspection, I realize that I am more of a medium to long term buy & hold guy.

Does a combo bank thing like SBI make sense in my case?

    Is SBI good?

  4. give zerodha.com a try as well, low cost efficient one, I also personally use it.

    Dear Jason,

You can consider Ventura… i personally use it for my investing.. They have the low brokerage (not the least though) and good trading platform.
