I am 33 years old and I have monthly SIPs in following funds:

  1) HDFC Top 200 (Rs.2000)

  2) HDFC Prudence (Rs.2000)

  3) ICICI Prudential Focused Blue Chip(Rs.2500)

  4) ICICI Prudential Discovery (Rs.1000)

  5) Reliance Gold Savings (Rs.500)

  6) Canara Robeco Equity Tax Saver(Rs.5000).

I am investing for long-term. Please tell me how is my portfolio. Should I include or exclude any fund?

    Hi Santosh,

Considering Its your only equity based mutual fund portfolio, the funds are good. No need to shift. Just 1 suggestion, increase your gold exposure (only in case this is the only investment in gold you have.)

      Lokesh, Thanks for your advice.
Yeah, I have investment in gold through Reliance Gold Savings fund only.

  2. Dear Santosh, on what parameters you selected these funds? Had you selected on your own someone else recommended these to you.

    Thanks

    Ashal

I have selected these funds by myself. Regarding parameters, I wanted to include large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap funds as well gold fund in my portfolio. The funds I have chosen are either 4- or 5-star rated funds by Value Research and these funds have a good track record.

      1. Dear Santosh, as of now your portfolio looks good. Please carry on.

        Thanks

        Ashal
