   Balanced fund is a type of mutual fund.

   Please read articles on mutual funds and start investing. Please don’t start without having good idea on what you are investing.

      yes,after reading articles i understood about that.
      i want to invest for long term and need good returns.which one would u suggest from equity,debt or balanced mutual funds.

   I guess, there is some kind of typo.
   Balanced funds are part of Mutual funds ‘tree’…
   Probably, i did not get the question…..
