Hello Experts

I am 32 year old with certain goals planned.

As of date i do not have any equity exposure. For long term goals, are following MF suitable ?

  1. ICICI Prudential Focused Bluechip Equity
  2. Franklin Templeton Franklin India Bluechip
  3. UTI Opportunities
  4. IDFC Premier
  5. HDFC Balanced

Dear Vinman, as you are out of India, please check with respective AMCs how ‘ll you be able to invest directly with it. For example Quantum Long Term Eq. fund, please contact over e-mail to Quantum AMC.

Regarding selecting out of the 2 funds, please invest in any fund. Both are good performers.

    Thanks

    Ashal

Thank you Ashal for the response & suggestion.

Among IDFC Premier Equity & Quantum Long Term Equity…Which one is better from long term investment point of view ?

Also should i buy the MF from the Financial Planner directly (He will help me in form filling process & future portfolio rebalancing on need basis as communicated by him) or shall i invest in them in DIRECT mode through FundsIndia (i can do it comfortably being outside india) ?

Your answer will help me to make an informed decision.

Thanks in advance for your patience & efforts to answer this.

    Cheers
    VinMan

Dear Vinman, please only one Bluechip fund from the 2 listed. Opt IDFC Prem. Eq. over UTI Opp. and keep HDFC Balanced. So only 3 funds for you.

    Thanks
