Metlife has started its online term plan called metprotect .

Do you think it will be a good competition to iTerm or iProtect ? The user interface was bit dull .

One of the other advantage is it caters to small towns across india.I reside in Hosur where i cant get iProtect but can get MetProtect

  2. It’s premium is slightly more than iProtect & iTerm. The premium showing on their website “excludes” service tax. I’ve confirmed it from their customer support department. There is no other “positive” point in this policy to consider it.

Even also, in term insurance, apart from premium, there is no other major point for comparison. I take all companies on same platform under the shed of IRDA.

Premium wise, its same as Aegon Religare for my profile (32 yr old, 25years term, 50lacs cover) but offers policy term of 35 years versus 25 years of iTerm or iProtect, which I think is a big plus.
