ONAgent took blank signed cheque as i got no renewal notice. premium enhanced, the cheque get dishonoured for the shortage of Rrs 130. the matter was unknown as I got policy certificate after 7 days, delayed letter came to me after 22 days regarding policy cancellation. no record of cheque dishonour to the bank statements. At the final hearing at district consumer court say i am not consumer as the premium was not paid. In spite of substantial document regarding negligence of service of the insurer, i feel helpless. please give suggestion for the continuation of my 11 years old clam free mediclaim policy

Dear Padun, after the district consumer court’s verdict, not much is there with you. Please purchase a new policy if not purchased already and make sure that same thing does not repeat this time.
